Ahead of the release of his solo synthesiser exploration Chronology on July 17, Pakistani-American composer and drummer of the cult trio Dawn of Midi, Qasim Naqvi shares a second single Head Within a Head.

Head Within a Head sees the artist stretch the sonic boundaries of an old Minimoog. Known for its legendary standing in popular music, Naqvi has taken the instrument and created something otherworldly.

"I felt compelled to make something as abstract and un-funky as possible- like deconstruct something that in one reality may have been funky but in another dimension is completely disfigured."

Chronology will be released physically on Record Store Day 2021, July 17 — followed by a digital release on July 31.
