We support change

Black Lives Matter.

We stand in solidarity with the Black community.

As a contemporary music label and collective of artists, it is important we do our part in supporting racial justice, equality and change.

This page is dedicated to the various causes we stand for and support.

We invite you to contribute and join the discussion of how we can make positive change.

East London's Arts Emergency is a mentoring charity and network. Their mission is to help marginalised young people overcome barriers to participation and success in higher education, and the creative and cultural industries. They are working towards an equitable, empathic and kind society where every young person has the chance to flourish, with every opportunity to contribute to the culture in which they live. In solidarity, we are donating our share of profits from Bandcamp sales on Friday July 3, 2020 to this local initiative.

The Discrimination Law Association (DLA) brings together a broad range of discrimination law practitioners, policy experts, academics and concerned individuals, all united around a commitment to improving equality law, practice, education and advice for those who face discrimination in the UK.

Erased Tapes and its artists, as a collective, will stand with those rightfully demanding justice, equality, and change, by donating 100% of profits from #BandcampJuneteenth sales on June 19, 2020 to the Discrimination Law Association.

The Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians (AACM) is a collective of musicians and composers dedicated to nurturing, performing and recording original music.

Co-founded by Roscoe Mitchell of The Art Ensemble of Chicago, it was the AACM who first coined the phrase Great Black Music to describe its unique direction in music. It pays homage to the diverse styles of expression within the body of Black Music in the USA, Africa and throughout the world. This experience extends from the ancient musics of Africa to the music of the future.

We have donated to the AACM as part of the #BandcampFriday initiative on June 5, 2020.

Sea-Watch e.V. is a non-profit organisation that conducts civil search and rescue operations in the Central Mediterranean.

In the presence of the humanitarian crisis, Sea-Watch provides emergency relief capacities, demands and pushes for rescue operations by the European institutions and stands up publicly for legal escape routes.

Since a political solution in the sense of a #SafePassage is not on the horizon, Sea-Watch have expanded their field of operation and made new plans. They are politically and religiously independent and are financed solely through donations.

· support them with a donation

All proceeds from Ellis by Woodkid & Nils Frahm go towards the Sea-Watch initiative.
