Bell Orchestre share brooding second single IV: What You're Thinking

17.2  2021

Bell Orchestre release their highly anticipated new full-length record next month, and are excited to share the brooding second single IV: What You’re Thinking today. It is lifted from House Music, released March 19 on Erased Tapes.

This album segment is another beguiling rumination bringing further focus and context to a record that leans on the collective’s individual talents to make a fascinating whole. Harnessing elements of the classical with the thrum of electronics, the avant-garde Montreal outfit further their claim as one of the most innovative, with House Music a field study in improvisation and sonic sculpturing.

To coincide with the sharing of new music, Bell Orchestre will precede the album’s release with an accompanying performance film, set to premiere as part of Southbank Centre’s Inside Out series in London, and the Ecstatic Music Festival in New York. The UK premiere will stream online for 24 hours from 8pm on Saturday March 13 — tickets are on general sale today via DICE. Our dear friends at Haldern Pop Festival will present the German premiere taking place on March 27 — tickets go on sale March 19. Further premieres in other territories to be announced.
