Daniel Brandt announces Without Us Reworks / Remixes

25.11   2025 EP

Daniel Brandt, of lauded German electroacoustic outfit Brandt Brauer Frick, released his third solo album Without Us earlier this year to critical acclaim on Erased Tapes. The album is a multimedia project that clashes head on with the spiralling chaos of our times, which included an audiovisual cinema rave performance at London’s iconic Barbican.

The album has now been reworked and remixed by a wide array of friends and collaborators, including a sparkling, kosmische rework by the legendary Tangerine Dream of album finale, Nothing To Undo.

Without Us (Reworks)

  1. Persistence (C. Diab Rework)
  2. Nothing To Undo (Tangerine Dream Rework)
  3. PNK (Akusmi Rework)
  4. WIthout Us (Rashad Becker Mix)

The four reworks are out now, and five remixes are to follow on December 9th, ahead of the Without Us A/V performance at Wonderfruit Festival in Thailand on December 13th.

Without Us (Remixes)

  1. Steady (Bi Disc Remix)
  2. Paradise O.D. (Adam Freeland Remix)
  3. Resistance (Camea Remix)
  4. Lucid (Daniel Brandt Remix)
  5. Paradise O.D. (Hiro Ama Remix)

“For the Without Us Remixes and Reworks, I invited close collaborators, friends and artists I have been a fan of for a long time to create new versions of the music, including several artists who helped shape the original record. Akusmi, who played many of the guitars and is part of the live band, and Rashad Becker, who mixed the album, both created new versions. Adam Freeland—whom I met in the desert while working on the album, and later worked in his studio in Joshua Tree—also contributed a remix. The live premiere at the Barbican in April 2025 ended in a rave, and some of the remixes, like the ones by Camea, Adam and Hiro reflect that energy. I’m also thrilled to have inspirations such as Tangerine Dream and C. Diab to have contributed with their versions” – Daniel Brandt
