Hatis Noit announces 3-day London residency

Enchanting Japanese vocal artist Hatis Noit has announced a 3-day residency at our Erased Tapes Sound Gallery in East London to perform a set of completely new material she’s been developing to an audience in an intimate setting, before she’ll re-enter the studio to record those pieces for her upcoming second album planned for a 2027 release.

“I’m currently making a new album, after giving birth and taking a brief pause for maternity leave. My music has never been written in the solitude of a studio alone. It comes into being in the presence of others—in the shared space of a live performance. The smallest shifts in feeling that ripple through a room, the quiet journeys each of us takes into our own memories and inner landscapes, and the exchange of energy that happens beyond language have always shaped these pieces. Before these works settle into their recorded form, I’d love to share them with you while they are still growing, shifting, and finding their way.
