We’re thrilled to announce a very special evening at this year’s Fat Out Fest in Manchester on September 22, featuring performances from Rival Consoles, Hatis Noit, Penguin Cafe and Douglas Dare — performing reworks of their songs with an ensemble from the BBC Philharmonic. The show is hosted by presenter Elizabeth Alker and will be recorded for BBC Radio 3’s Unclassified.
Festival director Emma Thompson says: “This year's festival feels very special; it’s a beautiful collaboration programmed alongside some of my favourite creatives. Get ready for an incredible array of noise makers arriving in Salford for our celebration of the underground.”
